About Us

Bambuspace Design Shanghai Ltd. was set up as MUDI spin-off in 2009 by Germany educated architect and founding partner of MUDI, Tong LingFeng, together with the information architect Wang Yu.

We use the traditional Chinese building material "bamboo" as a symbol for our sustainable design approach and act as multi-disciplinary guides and explorers of sustainable space design.

Our working principles are:
Integration - contrasting and merging of local and foreeign cultures;
Innovation - exploring and continuously improving new ways;
Sharing - providing and open platform to exchange and share grobal knowledge.

We offer Chinese language, English language and German Language services.

We have two departments for architectural and virtual design. In all our design projects we strive for a harmonious relationship between buildings and inhabitants, aiming to establish a dialogue between buildings, the environment and people.
